Jiu Jitsu Fundamentals – we will focus on fundamental techniques, principles, and movements involved in jiu jitsu, and will base this class on our Intro to Jiu Jitsu Program Syllabus.  This class is for people who are brand new to jiu jitsu as well as experienced grapplers who want to spend some time fine-tuning their fundamental techniques.  This class is for adults ages 14 and older.

Intermediate Jiu Jitsu – we will focus on more advanced positions and techniques and will spend time drilling these intermediate to advanced techniques with an emphasis on situational sparring, rounds, and competition preparation.  This class is NOT ideal for people who are brand new to jiu jitsu and requires a foundation of fundamental jiu jitsu skills and movements.  This class is for adults ages 14 and older.

Competition Class – we will focus on Jiu Jitsu competition preparation.  We will do a warm-up and then do 30 minutes of intense drilling, followed by situational sparring, then competition rounds.  This is for more advanced students and will have minimal instruction.  This class is not just for competitors, but for anyone wanting to improve their Jiu Jitsu and to also help our teammates who are preparing to compete in upcoming tournaments.  This class is NOT suited for people who are brand new to jiu jitsu.  Check with Hillary or Brian to see if this class is appropriate for you.  This class is for adults ages 14 and older.

Kickboxing – we will blend traditional Muay Thai and western kickboxing techniques.  These classes will focus on basic techniques, principles, and movements.  This class is for adults ages 14 and older.

Kids Jiu Jitsu – we welcome kids ages 6-13.  We will focus on fundamental techniques, principles, and movements involved in jiu jitsu.  This program will help children develop self-confidence, discipline, respect, and coordination while learning the fundamentals of jiu jitsu in a fun family atmosphere.

Kids Kickboxing - we welcome kids ages 6-13.  We will focus on fundamental techniques, principles, and movements involved in kickboxing where we will blend traditional Muay Thai and western kickboxing techniques.  This program will help children develop self-confidence, discipline, respect, and coordination while learning the fundamentals of kickboxing in a fun family atmosphere.

Study Hall – this time is for all adult students to use the gym to drill jiu jitsu or kickboxing, get jiu jitsu or kickboxing rounds in, use the weights or bike or rowing machine, or ask instructors and upper belt technique questions.  This time is more than just an open mat - it is intended for members to work out any kinks and develop their own games.  Study Hall is intended for members only - any drop-ins should reach out to us at info@unicornjiujitsu.com several hours ahead of time to see about coming to Study Hall.

LGBTQ Club – this is a special training session for members of the LGBTQ community, organized and run by Traction Project. It is self-defense focused and beginner-friendly, but is also for advanced martial artists to connect. The first half of class is a lesson in grappling, verbal skills, and teamwork. The second half is an open skill-share that may include striking. The curriculum often covers adult topics, so the class is for adults 18 and older — please email Traction Project in advance for an exception at thetractionproject@gmail.com.
